Summary PM Pediatrics is the largest pediatric urgent care network in the country. Description

• PM Pediatric Care is hiring Advanced Practice Providers with pediatric experience to join our team. Under the guidance of the Regional Medical Officer, APPs are responsible for evaluating and providing evidence-based treatment to pediatric patients in an urgent care setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat acute injury and illness for both in-person and telemedicine patients, including management of febrile infants/children, ear/nose/throat infections, pediatric abdominal pain, anaphylaxis, procedural anxiolysis, respiratory distress, croup, and asthma.
• Perform procedural care such as abscess drainage, foreign body removal, and laceration repair with sutures, staples, and dermal adhesive.
• Take radiographs and provide preliminary interpretation of x-rays, with official radiology over-reads where applicable (training provided).
• Oversee in-person and telemedicine patient flow and daily operations, including supervision of other providers, staff, and trainees.
• Maintain operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes to management.
• Collaborate with onsite and telemedicine teams to ensure completion of daily tasks like lab and radiology result review, patient follow-up, and timely responses to patient inquiries. Ensure a safe, secure, equitable, and healthy work environment by following safety procedures, quality standards, and legal regulations.
• Protect patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Update knowledge and skills through internal training, continuing education, professional publications, and participation in professional organizations.
• Assist the clinical team and patients with complaints, actively participating in service recovery when needed.
• Focus on improving efficiency metrics, antibiotic stewardship, and patient experience in both in-person and telemedicine settings.

• Pediatric experience required.
• Pediatric ER, ICU, or Urgent Care experience preferred.
• Comfortable performing minor surgical procedures, including suturing.
• Master's of Science in Nursing or Doctoral degree in Nursing, or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the applying state.
• Board certification by ANCC or NCCPA.

Compensation:

$110,000 - $175,000

The listed salary range complies with local regulations and may vary based on experience and location. Compensation is considered individually based on qualifications.
