Labor & Delivery RN Job Details- Location:
Voorhees, NJ 08043 (South Jersey, near Philadelphia) - Healthcare Setting:
Level III High Risk Labor & Delivery Unit - Employment Type:
Travel Nursing Assignment - Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/29/2025 – End: 12/29/2025)
- Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 19:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Float Requirement:
May float to High Risk Obstetric Unit (HROB) and to 4 additional hospitals within the health system (Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, OLOL) as needed - Scrubs:
Provided by hospital - Charting System: EPIC (EPIC experience preferred)
- First Time Travel Nurses:

- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (within the last 12 months)
- Active New Jersey or Compact Registered Nurse license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Required
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NRP (all must be current and valid for the duration of the assignment) - Ability to pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing (must be taken on a PC; only 2 attempts permitted)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Willingness to float within 5 hospitals as needed
- Ability to complete required labs within 48 hours of signing
- Clean-shaven for fit testing prior to working on unit
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a Level III high-risk environment
- Monitor patients using continuous fetal and maternal monitoring systems
- Float to High Risk Obstetric Unit (HROB) and other designated hospitals as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care using the EPIC electronic health record system
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 during day and night shifts
- Participate in orientation modules and ongoing clinical training
- Adhere to all hospital policies, including fit testing and vaccine requirements
