Dietitian – Per diem at Virtua Health
SummaryResponsible for assessing, educating, and making a decision regarding the nutrition therapy of patients. Responsible for assuring that nutrition care is provided and documented in accordance with policies and procedures as well as regulatory guidelines.
Position Responsibilities- Provide nutritional assessment, education, counseling and documentation.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to assure patient nutrition needs are met.
- Attend medical rounds on units where applicable.
- Act as resource for the Healthcare Team as it relates to the patient.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics.
Training/Certifications/LicensureValid registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD) or (RDE).
