Hooksett, NH; and Naples, FL house dedicated teams delivering high‑performance wire and cable for harsh environments. We engineer and manufacture with the highest level of expertise, supporting defense applications across land, sea, air, and space.
The Accounting Intern will provide hands‑on support to the Finance & Accounting team in a manufacturing environment within the Aerospace & Defense industry. The internship offers exposure to core accounting functions, plant operations, and corporate reporting.
You will work closely with team members across the Finance organization and gain practical experience in financial control, cost tracking, fixed asset management, and compliance initiatives.
- Assist with fixed asset inventory and tagging
- Review capital projects and help enhance the capital request process
- Support the three‑way match process (purchase orders, receipts, invoices)
- Support monthly inventory reconciliation tasks
- Summarize customer payment trends for internal reporting
- Assist with cost center reporting
, focusing on indirect material expenses and outside services - Help build visuals, summary slides, and other materials for flash reports and month‑end reviews
- Assist with Power BI development projects and dashboard enhancements
- Participate in financial process improvement and data‑accuracy initiatives
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration
, or a related field - Rising junior or senior preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency with Excel
; familiarity with databases or BI tools is a plus - Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Willingness to collaborate with cross‑functional partners
- Curiosity, initiative, and eagerness to learn
$22.00 – $27.00 per hour
, based on relevant experience and academic background.
- 10–12 weeks (May–August 2026)
- Temporary part/full‑time, targeting 40 hours per week
- Start/end dates flexible based on school schedules and business needs
- This is a paid internship
- Reports to:
Accounting Supervisor (day‑to‑day) with regular check‑ins with the Financial Controller
- Successful completion of a drug screening and physical exam required
- Regular walking, standing, sitting, hearing, and talking
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching
- Ability to view computer monitors for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for keyboard and office equipment
- May occasionally lift or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
