GeneralPurpose
The primary function of this position is to provide outstanding service to members by promoting and selling credit union products and services to new and existing members by fully utilizing job‑relevant technical skills, maintaining/updating technical skills and seeking to enhance service skills. This position requires the ability to make decisions within established guidelines, the willingness to work within a sales environment, and the ability to be a team player in an organization that values the spirit of teamwork.
Responsible for providing complete telephone and electronic assistance to the membership, including processing loan requests as well as providing account information and handling monetary transactions. Handle requests received by mail, fax, chat or Internet services and prepare any resulting documents.

Responsible to maintain the highest standards of Integrity, Personal Responsibility, Sense of Community, and Teamwork by self‑example within and outside Mid‑Minnesota Federal Credit Union.
Responsible for building member loyalty through an uncompromised commitment to meeting and exceeding members’ expectations.
Responsible to develop and maintain relationships with credit union members by determining member needs and maximizing all opportunities to sell additional credit union products and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Process telephone and chat inquiries and transactions regarding loan and deposit services. Including, but not limited to opening and closing of accounts, domestic and international money wires, share draft and ACH stop payments, researching and balancing accounts, statements of unauthorized entry, check copies, loan payoff requests, insurance verifications, lien releases, direct pay set‑up, payroll distributions, set‑up and altering of periodic payments, insurance waivers and processing returned mail.
Also resolve member issues relating to credit union services, including appropriate follow‑up as necessary. Chat, email and telephone inquiries are processed concurrently, often assisting multiple members at the same time. - Interview applicants to obtain credit information necessary to establish a credit decision, determine the best loan product for the member, sell additional loan products, credit insurance, GAP, Warranty and other services. Based on loan policies forward the loan for review.
- Research and resolve member Credit, Debit and ATM Card issues for resolution, including but not limited to balance updates, lost/stolen cards and address changes.
- Process Verification of Deposits received by email or fax.
- Effectively explain credit union products and services to members. Cross‑sell appropriate services as part of each transaction and attempt to educate members on the benefits and features of new, as well as existing services.
- Respond to Online Banking, Internet, chat and e‑mail inquiries.
- Responsible for daily input of check orders, address changes and other member account maintenance.
- Assist other employees or other departments as may be required from time to time.
Responsible for knowing all aspects of the credit union’s product line and services including rates, terms, and fees. Responsible for assisting manager in training new employees in these areas.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by manager.
