Financial Accounting Manager

The Financial Accounting Manager will oversee all financial operations for Galenus Care, ensuring fiscal integrity, strategic financial planning, and operational efficiency. This role is responsible for managing accounting functions, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance, while supporting the company’s growth and partnership initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, interpersonal, and management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Location:Moorestown, NJ (hybrid)

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes aligned with Galenus Care strategic goals.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and business development.

Accounting Operations

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Maintain compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Coordinate audits and ensure proper documentation and reporting standards.

Partnership & Growth Support

• Collaborate with leadership to evaluate financial models for new partnerships and service lines.
• Support pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and financial structuring for provider and payer relationships upon request.
• Manage and mentor finance and accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
• 5 - 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in healthcare or pharmacy services
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance standards
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Hybrid/on-site; 40 hours per week.
• Galenus Care reserves the right to change this work arrangement at any time. Galenus Care will not provide moving expenses.

The compensation package for this position is open for discussion, commensurate with education and experience.
