A multidisciplinary civil and environmental engineering consulting firm is seeking a Civil Engineer (EIT) to join its growing Site Civil/Land Development team in Parsippany, NJ.
This role is ideal for an engineer with 2+ years of experience who is looking to take on hands-on design responsibility and gain exposure to a variety of commercial, residential, and mixed-use development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare site civil construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Perform grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design
- Assist with hydrology and hydraulic calculations
- Develop erosion & sediment control plans
- Support permitting and municipal submissions
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Participate in project meetings and design reviews
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT certification preferred (or actively pursuing licensure)
- 2–6 years of land development or site civil design experience
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Working knowledge of grading, drainage, and stormwater design principles
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
