Data Scientist​/Systems Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Data Scientist/Systems Engineer with Security Clearance
Location: Moorestown

Apex Systems is currently hiring for a System Performance Analyst – Data Science & Systems Engineering with a DoD client.
** Project Details / Mission Supported:*
* • Support design, development, integration, and testing of new capabilities for Department of Defense technologies
• Contribute to mathematical and simulation-based models of weapons systems, radars, and Command & Control systems
• Perform mission analysis, Con Ops development, gap analysis, sensitivity and trade studies, and system requirements validation
• Conduct performance prediction for Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Anti-Air Warfare (AAW) mission areas
• Apply advanced data science techniques to modeling, simulation, and predictive analysis Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:
• BS degree in Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related STEM field
• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, analysis, modeling, or related technical field
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB for analysis, modeling, and automation
• Hands-on experience with
** Pandas**,
** Num Py**, and algorithm development for data processing and performance characterization
• Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis, problem solving, and statistical evaluation
• Experience with Linux-based environments, including scripting and system monitoring
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD

Skills:

* • Knowledge of Agile development processes
• Familiarity with Monte Carlo analysis, probability distributions, and distributed simulation techniques
• Understanding of data science principles, including predictive analysis and algorithm development
