INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEMS SOLUTIONS ENGINEER

One of our healthcare clients is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Systems Solutions Engineer with 5+ years of technical expertise to join a team responsible for implementing data center technology solutions. These include enterprise storage systems, VMware builds and upgrades, Active Directory, and physical data center environments (racks, servers, blade systems, fiber cabling, UPS, PDU systems). The candidate should be capable of fully documenting systems and creating detailed documentation.

This is a hybrid position requiring at least 2 days per week in the office. Candidates must reside in the NY/NJ Metro area and be able to commute to the office.

Preferred technology experience includes o365 for email, Pure Storage for enterprise storage, HP and Cisco blade systems, Cisco fabric interconnects, and Veeam backup solutions. The role involves provisioning, supporting, and maintaining system hardware and software configurations, supporting IT infrastructure technologies such as Exchange O365, servers, storage, Citrix, VMware, AD Azure SSO, data center operations, and group policy management. The engineer will assist project teams with technical issues, analyses, and infrastructure support, as well as respond to service outages and other challenges.

• At least five years of relevant experience; hospital information systems administration and workflow experience are a plus.
• Knowledge of and experience with client/server technology.
• Experience with multiple system applications and the ability to draft and edit technical and business documents.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA), Certified Citrix Administrator (CCA), and VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are advantageous.
