Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Special Education Teacher position is based in Lawnside, NJ, offering an engaging opportunity to support middle school students with diverse learning needs. The role requires on-site work at a single middle school, serving a caseload of 10-15 students with varying disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction aligned with students IEPs in a middle school setting
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement effective educational strategies
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Valid New Jersey Special Education certification (K12) is required
• Additional certifications in Reading and/or subject-specific areas are advantageous
• Experience working with middle school-aged students in special education
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:10 AM to 3:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break
• Commitment to on-site presence is mandatory

• Full-time hours during the extended school year (ASAP to ESY)
