This part‑time adjunct faculty position requires a commitment to excellence in teaching and a dedication to student success. The Leon Hess Business School is AACSB accredited. Courses are taught in person at the West Long Branch campus. Monmouth University values diversity and invites applications from underrepresented groups.
Responsibilities- Teach 3‑6 credits during the semester.
- Develop and deliver course lectures, discussions, and assignments in accordance with the curriculum and learning objectives.
- Provide time during the week to meet with students outside of class.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student engagement and academic success.
- Develop and administer projects and exams to evaluate student learning outcomes and provide grades in a timely manner.
- Provide timely feedback and guidance to students to support their learning and development.
- Minimum Qualifications: Master of Business Administration or another master’s degree or higher (e.g., JD, PhD) from an accredited institution, with an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting. Must be available to teach during the day and have flexible hours.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior teaching experience. Prior or current Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
