What You'll Do
  • Provide a warm, responsive, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers.
  • Foster children’s social‑emotional, cognitive, language, and motor development through structured routines and purposeful play.
  • Implement lesson plans and participate in small group learning, story time, music & movement, sensory activities, and more.
  • Maintain open communication with families through daily reports, updates, and parent‑teacher conferences.
  • Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and compliant with all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Support self‑help skill development such as handwashing, toileting, and simple classroom routines.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Toddler/Childcare Classroom.
  • CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of child development and best practices in infant care.
  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain upon hire).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
  • Passionate about early childhood development and working with toddlers.
  • Reliable team player who thrives in a collaborative teaching environment.
  • Ability to model empathy, patience, and positivity while engaging actively with children.
  • Ability to manage physical demands of a toddler classroom.
