This is a part-time, on-site role for an Advanced Manufacturing Instructor located in Branchburg, NJ. As an instructor you will teach and guide students in advanced manufacturing processes, including manual machining and CNC machining.
Responsibilities include developing and delivering course materials, assessing student performance, monitoring safety practices in a lab environment, and preparing students for careers in manufacturing. The role involves providing hands-on training, ensuring the curriculum aligns with industry standards, and mentoring students to achieve their educational and professional goals.
Additionally, we are an ACE Training Partner, part of a national network of regional machine tools innovation and workforce development centers. ACE is an IACMI-led workforce initiative supported by the Department of Defense whose mission is to develop the next generation of machine tool professionals to revitalize the country s manufacturing sector. We will provide you with all of the necessary training to join our team of certified Professionals.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge and practical experience in CNC machining or other advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Expertise in creating instructional materials and teaching technical and manufacturing concepts effectively.
- Ability to oversee lab safety protocols and promote diligent safety practices during hands-on training.
- Strong communication, mentorship, and organizational skills to support student success and learning outcomes.
- Prior experience in education or training in a manufacturing-related field is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
