Part Time Childcare Educator - Mt. Olive School district

Educator Pay Rate: $16.00‑$18.00 (based on education and experience)

Program

Hours:

Monday‑Friday, 6:30 AM‑8:45 AM and 3:45 PM‑6:00 PM

You’ll Drive The Mission By

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and maintain team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily
  
  Activities:
  
  prepare activities and curriculum aligned with the program’s objectives and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Leading by Example: maintain a safe and nurturing environment and model positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor the environment, address potential hazards, follow safety protocols, and document attendance and incidents.
• Communication: effectively communicate with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Ideal Candidates Will Have The Following

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

New Jersey State Requirements

• Ability to meet state‑specific requirements.
• First Aid and CPR in‑person.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• Proof of MMR.
• Proof of High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
