Approve the substitute rates for school year.
Category
Rate of Pay
- Substitute Certification: $140.00 or $145/day*
- Certified Teacher: $155.00 or $165.00/day*
- Nurse: $225.00/day
- Support Staff: $17.00/hour
- Custodial Staff: $17.00/hour
- Secretary Substitute: $17.00/hour
* Rate increase occurs after 25 days of substituting each school year.
Education andQualifications:
Successful applicants must hold the necessary credits and certifications required for the interested position, possess a valid NJ Criminal History check, proof of TB test results.
