Principal Responsibilities- Develop and deliver cultural and educational programming in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
- Provide the community with opportunities to explore a wide range of cultural, educational, recreational, and social activities for adults.
- Help participants learn new skills, travel, engage in discussions on current events, and more—offering a rich variety of programs that promote personal growth, intellectual enrichment, skill development, and social connection.
- Plan and implement programs, events, lectures, and adult education classes.
- Oversee the grant‑funded Mealsite Supervisor who manages seven meal sites throughout Atlantic County.
- Support the Katz JCC’s mission to serve as a center for arts and culture by curating, developing, and executing programming such as film events, literary/author programs, music, special events, performances, lectures, and art.

- Ability to direct cultural arts and educational programs, including developing and managing the scope of events, classes, lectures, and art gallery spaces.
- Cultivate lay leadership and work with committee volunteers to develop programming and increase participation.
- Develop programming partnerships and coordinate with contracted programs and service providers to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
- Create annual program budgets and manage spending on a regular basis.
- Implement marketing plans to generate program participation and event ticket sales.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in an environment where situations change and adaptability is essential.
- Ability to travel to meal sites within a 30-mile range on a sporadic basis.
- Strong customer service approach with the ability to interact with members, staff, volunteers, and the public in a positive, enthusiastic, and courteous manner.
- Detail-oriented to ensure precise execution of programs and events.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with other staff members.
- Professional appearance and ability to uphold the JCC's appearance and dress code standards.
- Strong computer, administrative, and organizational skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and customer service management software.
- Good telephone skills and the ability to respond appropriately with accurate information.
- Knowledgeable about the agency and its programs, with a background in Judaic culture preferred.
- Work schedule:
Monday-Friday with flexible hours; evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Minimum of a BA degree required.
- Experience supervising staff, developing schedules and class calendars, and demonstrating strong member and staff relations skills.
$55,000 - $65,000
