As a Music Teacher, you will teach music lessons according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum and work to increase student count, ensuring each student continues to grow and enjoys playing music while nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.
Store Culture & Excellence- Partner with the store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
- Teach students using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
- Assist with customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long‑term students by creating a great experience.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Partner with students and families through frequent communication, building trusting relationships, and embracing parents’ knowledge.
- Communicate with students and/or parents about progress of each student.
- Share students’ and/or parents’ goals and progress frequently.
- Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field.
- Ability to teach an instrument you are proficient in, such as drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.
- Demonstrated competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching.
