- Provide a warm, responsive, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers
- Foster children’s social‑emotional, cognitive, language, and motor development through structured routines and purposeful play
- Implement lesson plans and participate in small group learning, story time, music & movement, sensory activities, and more
- Maintain open communication with families through daily reports, updates, and parent‑teacher conferences
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and compliant with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Support self‑help skill development such as handwashing, toileting, and simple classroom routines
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Toddler/Childcare Classroom
- CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of child development and best practices in infant care
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain upon hire)
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
- Individuals who are passionate about early childhood development and working with toddlers
- Reliable team players who thrive in a collaborative teaching environment
- Teachers who can model empathy, patience, and positivity while engaging actively with children
- Ability to manage physical demands of a toddler classroom
