Stipend Position - Assistant Coach - Track
David Brearley High School

Responsibilities:

Assist head coach with overseeing the entire athletic program, including, but not limited to: budgeting, scheduling, personnel, and school and community involvement.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of thirty (30) college credits (County Substitute Certificate).
• Must have a criminal background check completed before being appointed.
• Must have CPR certification.
• Must complete a course in “Sports First Aid”.
• Must complete the components of the NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching course.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
• Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70).

Athletic Director

Terms of Employment:
Stipend amount of $6,506 per collective bargaining agreement; terms as stated below.

• The employee is not eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid sick and personal leave accruals (pursuant to the collective bargaining agreement), and enrollment in the New Jersey Teachers' Pension and Annuity Fund (TPAF) or the Public Employees’ Retirement System.
