Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey's largest health network, is seeking a dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our behavioral health team at Ocean University Medical Center in Brick, New Jersey.
Position Highlights- Work‑Life Balance:
Predictable Monday‑Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM schedule in a 100% outpatient setting. - On‑Call Work:
Minimal evening and weekend call responsibilities, shared among department members. - Collaborative & Supportive Culture:

Eligibility for a faculty appointment at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, including teaching and research opportunities. - Robust Clinical Support:

- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and evidence‑based treatment for children and adolescents in various clinical settings.
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized patient care plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatricians, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Engage with patients’ families and caregivers to provide education, support, and guidance.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- M.D. or D.O. degree from a recognized medical or osteopathic school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Must have or be eligible to obtain an unrestricted New Jersey Medical License, CDS, and DEA registration.
- Demonstrated commitment to outstanding, patient‑centered care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The posted rate of pay is a reasonable good‑faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market‑competitive total rewards package. Minimum Starting Base Salary: $259,252.
