Location: Cape May Court House

Position Summary

We are seeking a creative and technically proficient UI Designer for a 30‑month project in Albany, NY. This role focuses on bridging the gap between complex data and user‑friendly visual interfaces. You will create intuitive layouts, high‑impact infographics, and accessible web components. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in graphic design and technical ability to implement solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, targeting SharePoint and Power Platform environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visual Interface Design:
    Create aesthetically pleasing and functional user interfaces for a variety of digital applications, ensuring a consistent look and feel.
  • UX Implementation:
    Apply user experience principles to improve site flow, navigation, and overall user engagement.
  • Information Design:
    Translate complex data and processes into clear, professional infographics and visual aids.
  • Training & Instructional Design:
    Design specialized layouts and visual materials specifically for the delivery of training content.
  • Accessibility Compliance:
    Ensure all designs meet W3C Accessibility standards (WCAG) to provide an inclusive experience for all users.
  • Low‑Code & SharePoint Development:
    Design and deploy custom front‑ends within Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint, balancing out‑of‑the‑box functionality with custom design.
  • Front‑End Support:
    Utilize front‑end programming knowledge to collaborate with developers and ensure design integrity during implementation.
Professional Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an NASAD accredited Graphic Design Program.
  • Interface Design: 4.5 Years (54 Months) of experience in Interface Design.
  • User

    Experience:

    4.5 Years (54 Months) of experience implementing UX principles.
  • Info graphic Design: 4 Years (48 Months) of experience designing infographics for communicating complex information.
  • Training Material Design: 4 Years (48 Months) of experience designing layouts for training material delivery.
  • Accessibility Standards: 3 Years (36 Months) of experience implementing accessibility features utilizing W3C (WCAG) standards.
  • Front‑End Programming: 2 Years (24 Months) of experience in Front‑End Programming.
  • Low‑Code Solutions: 1.5 Years (18 Months) of experience designing low‑code application front‑ends.
  • Microsoft Ecosystem: 0.5 Years (6 Months) of experience in the design and implementation of Microsoft SharePoint sites and 0.5 Years (6 Months) creating low‑code solutions in Microsoft Power Platform.
Compensation

$31.30 per hour
