We are a solo-doctor, private dental practice in a beloved shore town committed to delivering the highest level of clinical excellence, patient care, and customer service. Our practice environment is calm, refined, and relationship-driven. We are seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant who is professional, enthusiastic, dependable, and above all, honest and trustworthy.
This role is ideal for a motivated, positive, detail-oriented clinical professional who takes pride in delivering white-glove patient care and enjoys being part of a close-knit, high-performing team.
Position OverviewThe Dental Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the doctor and ensuring a seamless, elevated clinical experience for every patient. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in patient care and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the doctor during clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficiency
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and sterilization protocols
- Take digital X-rays, impressions, and intraoral photos as needed
- Educate patients on procedures, treatment plans, and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate, detailed clinical records using Dentrix dental software
- Anticipate the doctor’s needs and support smooth, on-time clinical flow
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, honesty, infection control, and patient confidentiality
- 2+ Years of prior dental assisting experience is required
- X-ray certification required
- Experience with Dentrix is strongly preferred
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Honest, ethical, and trustworthy with patient care and clinical information
- Comfortable working independently in a solo-doctor private practice and as part of a close-knit team

- Monday – Wednesday : 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday : 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 1–2 Fridays per month: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
