Overview
KEIL Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Customer Care Representative for a full-time position. KEIL has been providing comfort to homeowners in Northern New Jersey for over a century. We currently have an opening for a Customer Care Representative with a great attitude, high energy, and high motivation. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a wonderful office staff that takes care of our established customer base, some of which have been with us for three generations.

Goal-oriented candidates will share office duties, make outbound and take inbound phone calls. A strong Windows computer understanding is necessary in order to schedule, log, and follow up with our residential customers. This is a detail-oriented position for a well-organized individual.
- Input/update customer information into our computer system.
- Make outgoing calls to customers to schedule maintenance and service appointments.
- Answer incoming telephone calls, schedule and manage customer requests.
- Assist customers on the phone and occasionally in person.
- Offer customers product and service solutions to solve their comfort problems.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills - verbal and written (English).
- Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
- Well organized, thorough, and detail-oriented with a take-charge attitude.
- Ability to make fast, accurate, and logical decisions without assistance.
- Ability to follow instructions and to provide instructions to others.
- Associate s degree in business or equivalent course work and experience.
- 1-2 years of minimum experience and knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Word and Excel.
- On-the-job training.
- 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday, occasional Saturdays from 7:00 - 12:00.
