Electrix Vintage is seeking a highly organized and self‑motivated Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of our New Jersey pop‑up events. This role is responsible for bringing our pop‑up experiences to life, from venue scouting and vendor coordination to on‑site logistics and team management.

This is a part‑time position based in Point Pleasant, NJ. Some responsibilities may be completed remotely (scheduling, vendor communication, planning), but on‑site presence is required for event days and inventory coordination.

Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and set priorities effectively.
  • Team Leadership and communication abilities to collaborate with NYC team, staff, clients, and partners, ensuring smooth event delivery.
  • Flexibility to work both remotely and on‑site as required by weekly schedule.
  • Self‑motivated and willing to work independently.
  • Creative problem‑solving and adaptability to respond to challenges efficiently during events.
  • Familiarity with the fashion / vintage clothing industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Online and in‑person venue scouting, inquiring, and touring potential spaces.
  • Coordinate with vendors to schedule pop‑up event dates.
  • Communicate with the NYC team to plan out the quantity of wholesale inventory to order for upcoming events.
  • Load in new inventory drop‑offs into storage space located in Point Pleasant Beach.
  • Pick up & unload wholesale vintage from our suppliers into truck before events.
  • Prep truck with all necessary materials for the event before the event date.
  • Keep track of overstock, event materials, promotional materials, merch, etc. and coordinate with the NYC team for re‑ordering.
  • Order U‑Haul trucks as needed per event and be responsible for material transport to events.
  • Coordinate with our Graphic Designer to create event graphics and any necessary graphics for event set‑up or promotion.
  • Make a schedule for temporary event staff per event and work with the NYC team to finalize.
  • Plan event dates with the NYC team to ensure proper promotion and resources.

Must be available for 2-4 days a week (less at first but will grow into more hours)

  • 1-2 days weekly remote/in‑person for event prep
  • 2 weekend days (likely be every other weekend at first but will grow into weekly events)
  • Will start around 6 hours/week and grow into 24-40 hours/week when events begin
