Temporary Product Development Coordinator

The Temporary Product Development Coordinator is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who supports the execution of the product development process from concept to production. This role will assist with project tracking, sample management, SKU coordination, and cross-team communication to ensure the timely and accurate development of products across multiple categories and channels (DTC, wholesale, and licensing).
Responsibilities- Support the Product Development in managing timelines, deliverables, and action items across product design, sourcing, and packaging.
- Maintain and update product development trackers and calendars, ensuring alignment with go-to-market timelines and milestone meetings.
- Act as a liaison between design, sales, and operations, ensuring alignment on assortments, timelines, and specifications.
- Own the sample management process, including tracking sample requests, organizing samples for meetings, and ensuring timely feedback loops.
- Support in creating and maintaining accurate SKU data across systems like FlexPLM.
- Ensure all product attributes, pricing, packaging specs, and regulatory/compliance notes are accurately recorded.
- Coordinate with Sales to provide product information sheets for key accounts.
- Facilitate smooth handoffs and communication across departments.
- 1–2 years of experience in a product development, operations, merchandising, or production support role (internship experience okay)
- Highly organized with strong project management and multitasking skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
- Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with PLM or ERP systems a plus
- Passion for consumer products, design, and product innovation
- Ability to work in office 4 days per week
- This position is temporary; it will start ASAP and end in Mid-June
