POSITION SUMMARY

This position is based out of Montvale, NJ and we do not offer relocation at this time.

We are seeking a Procurement Intern to support our Supply Chain Group in our Montvale, New Jersey corporate office. The main responsibilities will be focused on purchase order and invoice processing for Direct, Indirect and Capex categories of spend. This role will require cross-functional teamwork, excellent communication skills and efficient transactional processing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Support Direct, Indirect and Capex Purchase order processing with focus on improving efficiency/effectiveness.
  • Maintain effective administration of the MRP/ERP systems through timely entries and daily review of critical purchasing data.
  • Facilitate the timely purchase of goods, within acceptable lead times from vendors through regular coordination with Corporate and Plant Operations personnel as needed.
  • Expedites and ensures proper receipt of purchase orders as necessary in ERP System.
  • Facilities timely processing of invoices through SAP Concur and work with AP as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing/Procurement, or Business.
  • Good MS Office/computer skills.
  • Ability to systematically organize and present data, manage to project deadlines and ability to work, communicate cross functionally.

The estimated salary range for this position is $20 – $25 an hour.
