Entry Level Automotive Technician; Tech C - Budget Truck - PT

Your work helps ensure our trucks are safe, reliable, and ready when customers need them—directly supporting uptime and a positive customer experience.

You will perform preventative maintenance and light repairs on our fleet of box trucks and moving vans. This includes oil and fluid services, tire changes and rotations, brake work, and other basic maintenance tasks, all performed safely and according to company standards.

Depending on your experience, you may assist experienced technicians with more advanced repairs and diagnostics as you continue to develop your skills. You may also be required to drive a Budget Truck on public access roads for testing or operational needs.

By helping keep vehicles well maintained and reliable, your work supports fleet readiness and customer satisfaction.

• Valid Driver’s License (Class A, B, or
  
  C)
• At least 6 months of auto maintenance experience or completion of an automotive technical school program
• Ability to obtain at least 1 ASE certification within the first year
• Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate or loud noise levels
• Basic computer skills including typing and data entry
• Must be able to obtain DOT medical clearance
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles
• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
