We are looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Hamilton Square, NJ area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
PositionAutomotive Alignment Technician
Automotive Alignment Technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our technicians help reduce tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Alignment Technicians also complete state-mmandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform other required automotive service or vehicle repairs.
Responsibilities- Use alignment equipment to align tires and wheels on customer vehicles.
- Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to improve tire wear and vehicle tracking.
- Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and other required automotive services.
- Perform additional automotive maintenance and repairs as needed.

Qualifications- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Preferred: a state inspection license.
- Active position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching and repetitive movements related to vehicle and tire maintenance; ability to lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
