Overview

Full-Time | Office-Based | Temporary to Permanent

We’re hiring an Accounting Support Specialist to support our accounting and operations teams. This role starts as a full-time temporary position with the intent to convert to permanent for the right fit.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working through structured processes. Our accounting workflows are specific to our industry, so we’re looking for someone who is trainable, proactive, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities
  • Support daily accounting activities including data entry, AP/AR, and account reconciliations
  • Review and verify ACH payments for accuracy and proper processing
  • Manage accounting documents including invoices, receipts, and statements in our digital filing system
  • Handle new vendor setup including W-9s, vendor agreements, and required documentation
  • Track, review, and follow up on vendor and carrier insurance certificates to ensure compliance
  • Communicate with internal teams, vendors, truckers, and insurance companies to collect missing or updated documentation
  • Open, sort, and route incoming mail and assist with outgoing payments
  • Provide general administrative and accounting support as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma required;
    Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in accounting support, administrative roles, or vendor management is a plus
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Reliable, trainable, and receptive to feedback
  • Professional handling of confidential information
  • Full-time, office-based role
  • Temporary position with opportunity for permanent hire
  • Regular interaction with internal teams, vendors, and carriers
