Finance - Payroll Clerk​/Account Clerk

The Borough of Seaside Park is seeking applications for a Fulltime Payroll Clerk/Account Clerk. The ideal candidate must be well organized, analytical, detail oriented, accurate, have good verbal and written skills and be able to work well with the public.

• Payroll Clerk
  : administer and process bi-weekly payroll; manage payroll-related functions, reports, time and attendance, and records; process pension membership applications, beneficiary changes, retirement applications, and health insurance applications and changes.
• Account Clerk
  : prepare a Bill List; assist with preparation of periodic reports; examine vouchers to ensure necessary approvals and proper calculations; compare various types of documents for completeness such as vouchers, payrolls, requisitions, invoices, bills, and receipts; maintain established records/files; and perform other administrative tasks as needed.

• Experience with Positive Pay.
• Experience with Edmunds, Primepoint, and all relevant Microsoft applications.

The position includes pension, health benefits, sick, vacation, and personal time consideration. Salary range: $20 - $30 per hour.
