Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Support Coordinator for Off-Campus Centers. This position reports to the Manager of Academic Programs.

Responsibilities
  • Provides day-to-day administrative and student support and program coordination for student-related activities and events for the Rutgers University Statewide site located at Mercer County Community College.
  • Serves as the program and student informational liaison, maintaining student data files, generating and reviewing reports (e.g., student enrollment, course offerings, rosters, etc.).
  • Supports social media efforts (e.g., website, Facebook, etc.) for the Statewide Mercer County Community College location, as well as provide CRM support.
  • Provides facilities support, which may include but is not limited to, room scheduling, assigning and providing necessary equipment, coordinating with facilities management (e.g., reporting maintenance requests, repairs, etc.) and providing basic tech support.
  • Assists students with successfully completing the enrollment process to the Statewide Mercer location.
Salary Details

FLSA Nonexempt Salary: $20 - $25 hourly. The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position. We also take into consideration market benchmarks, if and when appropriate, and internal equity to ensure fair compensation relative to the university's broader compensation structure.

Position Status

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two (2) years of relevant experience in an administrative and program support function, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Certifications/Licenses
  • Valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle or other dependable means of transportation.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in higher education.
Equipment Utilized, Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Ability to lift 25lbs.
Special Conditions
  • This position is located off-site at Mercer County Community College (West Windsor, NJ).
  • May be asked to provide on-site assistance at other Higher Education Centers in NJ.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, especially during the academic year.
  • Clean Driving Record.
