The A/P Specialist is responsible for providing efficient support while processing and preparing vendor invoice payments, reconciling accounts, and posting to our general ledger. This position plays a crucial role in establishing, maintaining and enhancing vendor relationships through regular contact and understanding of vendor processes.
What You'll Do
• Process accounts payable using accounting software.
• Verify vendor accounts, pay vendors, and resolve purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies.
• Ensure bills are coded and paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to policies and procedures.
• Process due invoices for payments.
• Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges.
• Collaborate with internal departments.
• Reconcile vendor statements.
Who You Are:
• Effective communicator both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or BS degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office products.
- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred.
- Working knowledge of Accounts Payable processes.

- Compensation Range:
The base pay range for this position is $18.00-$23.00/hour, commensurate with the individual's experience and qualifications.
