Payroll Clerk

Location: Warren

Description This is a permanent on-site role located in Warren, NJ, for a Payroll Clerk. The Payroll Clerk will handle the timely and accurate processing of payroll, managing clients, and ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations. The role involves overseeing key payroll operations, including addressing payroll inquiries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining up-to-date records in alignment with company policies and relevant laws.

Responsibilities:

- Process employee payroll accurately and in a timely manner.

- Manage payroll deductions, garnishments, and tax filings to ensure compliance with regulations.

- Maintain detailed records of payroll transactions and reports.

- Utilize payroll systems and software to streamline operations.

- Address employee inquiries related to payroll discrepancies or adjustments.

- Collaborate with the accounting department to align payroll with financial records. Requirements Proficiency in Payroll Management and Payroll Processing Experience managing Payroll Taxes and Deductions Strong knowledge of Accounting as it pertains to payroll operations Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills
