About the Role
As a Tax Manager or Tax Supervisor, you’ll play a critical role in managing tax engagements, maintaining compliance, and advising clients across a diverse range of industries. Key Responsibilities
- Perform and review complex tax research and analysis
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Identify and implement strategies to minimize effective tax rates
- Oversee non-income tax compliance, including sales and use taxes
- Prepare for and lead federal and state tax audits
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Active CPA license or CPA eligibility preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant tax experience, ideally within public accounting
- Strong communication skills to explain complex tax issues clearly and confidently
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience supervising tax staff or managing client relationships is a plus
