Malas Development is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Accountant to support our financial operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, familiar with accounting processes, and has a strong understanding of construction and property management software. This on-site role offers the opportunity to work directly with leadership, gain exposure to high-level projects, and play a crucial part in the daily financial activities of a growing, fast-paced company.

Key Responsibilities- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Track, code, and reconcile employee expenses.
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including general ledger entries and journal postings.
- Reconcile bank statements and company credit card accounts.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial inquiries.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial documents, reports, and records.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and relevant regulations.
- Assist with other accounting-related tasks and projects as needed.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within the construction or property management industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency with Quick Books, Rent Manager, and Procore for financial and project cost tracking.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and eager to learn and grow.
