Our client is a well‑established and local CPA Firm that is looking for a Tax Staff Accountant to join their team!
Salary/Hourly Rate$85k - $95k
Position OverviewThe Tax Staff Accountant will join an existing team to assist with tax season in early 2026. A focus in this role will be preparing personal and business tax returns for small business clients.
Responsibilities- The Tax Staff Accountant will prepare tax returns for various clients.
- Generate yearly tax projections.
- Analyze the balance sheet as well as the P&L.
- Monthly reconciliations.
- Journal entries to the general ledger.
- 3+ years of prior public accounting/Staff Accountant experience.
- 3+ years of prior tax preparation experience.
- CPA or Enrolled Agent Certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of Quick Books and Ultra‑Tax is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
