Senior Accountant

Our client, a growing software company, is hiring a Senior Accountant for their Northern New Jersey office.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k – $95k

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about maintaining financial accuracy and compliance. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month‑end close process, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

• The Senior Accountant will execute the month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Manage fixed assets, accruals, and intercompany transactions.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP, or similar).

• Familiarity with ERP systems (Net Suite, SAP).
• Experience with collections and credit management processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• A CPA or MBA is preferred.
