What We Are Hungry ForThe Junior Accountant will provide general accounting support, including creating reports, performing data entry of statements, preparing filings and reconciling transactions.
Knowledge And Responsibilities- Record day-to-day financial transactions in ERP (Restaurant 365) System.
- Prepare daily and weekly bank reconciliations.
- Deposit checks and perform data-entry into R365.
- Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly sales and tax filings.
- Assist with month-end close, including booking accruals, recording revenue, preparing schedules, and tax work.
- Perform routine activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and other month‑end close activities.
- Assist with various AR/AP functions when needed.
- Prepare weekly and monthly credit card spending reports.
- Prepare daily fund report and reconcile marketplace transactions.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in accounting.
- Prior experience in the Food or Beverage industry preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required; capable of managing large-volume data.
