Tool Technician ; Onsite: Iberia, LA

The Tool Technician I under strict supervision, performs maintenance functions such as repairs on down-hole tools, surface equipment and other production equipment in the application for down-hole tools.

• Pay Rate: Up to $20.00, depending on experience.
• Assignment Length: 6‑month contract with the high possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and other factors.
• Shift Details: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm

• Assembles and disassembles down‑hole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment. Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
• Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with others, essential for oil field service work.
• Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required for documentation and reporting.
• Basic computer skills are preferred for data entry and communication.
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools is essential.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies.
• Experience with machinery/tools such as power tools and hammers.
