IT Systems Assistant Needed! Staffmark is seeking an experienced IT Systems Assistant
. This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional with strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Windows Server, and networking
, who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is passionate about delivering reliable, secure IT services.
Salary $53,000 - $55,000

Key Responsibilities- Provide 2nd line support for IT systems, infrastructure, and end users
- Support Group IT projects including system upgrades, cloud migrations, and new deployments
- Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive)
- Manage Azure AD / Entra user provisioning, conditional access, and security policies
- Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy (GPOs)
- Support network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs
- Perform physical installations including network racks, cabling, and hardware
- Escalate complex issues to third-party vendors and managed service providers as required
- Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures within the ITSM/ticketing system
- Ensure systems comply with IT policies, security standards, and best practices
- Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 and cloud-based services
- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure AD (Entra )
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
- Experience managing Windows Server and Active Directory environments
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service desk ticketing tools
- Exposure to cybersecurity tools including anti-malware and vulnerability scanning
- Experience with Power Shell scripting for automation and administration
- Familiarity with Synology storage systems and backup solutions
- Knowledge of Connect Wise Automate and/or Fortinet EMS preferred
- Ability to create, review, and improve IT processes and documentation
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time-management skills
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-100, AZ-104, or equivalent)
- Networking certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or similar
