Overview
This is an on-site contract role for an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic, located in New Iberia, LA. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs of aircraft, including airframe, power plant, and associated systems. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards, troubleshooting system issues, and maintaining detailed maintenance records. Adherence to safety regulations and protocols is a key aspect of daily operations.
Qualifications- Comprehensive knowledge of Power Plant systems and their maintenance
- Proficiency in Aircraft Maintenance, including repairing and servicing aircraft components
- Understanding of Aircraft Systems and their operation
- Experience in assessing and ensuring Airworthiness
- Familiarity with aircraft structures and associated technical requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work on-site in New Iberia, LA
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
- Demonstrated adherence to safety standards and best practices in aviation maintenance
