POSITION OVERVIEWThe primary purpose of the Computer Systems Analyst is to analyze business problems to develop and implement solutions to application needs and system administration issues. Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities and workflow limitations. This position is a key member of a team tasked with continuous improvement of systems within the construction-specific ERP software (COINS) throughout the company.

These responsibilities generally describe the nature of the position and may not be all inclusive:
- Oversee configuration and security administration of the ERP software.
- Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning.
- Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer-related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems.
- Develop operational reports and BI dashboards based on company needs.
- Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.
- Understand the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility so that information can be shared.
- Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
- Expand or modify systems to serve new purposes or improve work flow.
- Train staff and users to work with computer systems and programs.
- Assess the usefulness of vendor application packages and adapt them to a user environment.
- Develop best practices for uploading, manual input or maintaining accurate information and balances within software.
- Develop process maps and SOPs to aid Horwitz with organizational learning and training.

- Understanding of business and accounting principles
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL and data query tools
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence (BI) tools
- Experience with API-based integrations, web services, and webhooks a plus
- Familiarity with Procore, Build Ops, or other construction-specific ERP system a plus
- Familiarity with integration-platform-as-a-service (iPaaS) tools for workflow automation and data synchronization a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Management information Systems (MIS), or related field
- Minimum of 2 – 4 years of experience in business systems analysis or ERP implementation/support
