Horwitz is seeking motivated, hands‑on interns to join our team for the summer in one of two areas:
Supply Chain/Logistics or Facilities. These internships are designed for individuals who are eager to learn, contribute to day‑to‑day operations, and gain practical experience in a professional, team‑oriented environment.

Both internship opportunities support essential business functions and incorporate Horwitz’s core values of being Safe, Accountable, Professional, Motivated, Can Do, and Curious.

• Can be full time or have a flexible part time schedule (operating hours are 6am‑3:30pm, Monday through Friday)

These responsibilities generally describe the nature of the position and may not be all inclusive:

• Supply Chain & Logistics Internship
  • Supports daily operations within the shipping and receiving area of the warehouse
  • Assist with truck loading and unloading in the warehouse
  • Support parcel and skid processing, and help fulfill order requests
  • Tag and label all orders and skids accurately for delivery
  • Help coordinate and maintain the delivery log and documentation format
  • Learn and support the receiving processes and warehouse organization methods
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and efficiency
• Facilities Internship
  • Supports daily operations within 7400 & 7300 buildings at Horwitz
  • Assists with office set‑ups, minor repairs and/or updates
  • Physical boxes and storage relocation
  • Event set up/tear down
  • Ensure work spaces and break areas are well‑maintained, assisting with in‑house cleanups when necessary
  • Works with Facility Coordinator on assignments

• Adaptable and flexible in day‑to‑day tasks
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate logistics‑related software or spreadsheets

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a related program, such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Building Maintenance/Engineering, or a similar field
• Previous exposure to inventory management, shipping and receiving, warehouse organization, facility upkeep, building maintenance, or other hands‑on work environments is helpful but not required
• Willingness to learn, follow safety procedures, and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong interest in learning warehouse and logistics operations or facility operations, building systems, and workspace upkeep
