Field Service Engineer

Field Service Technician – Regional (New Haven, CT)

Field Service Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing advanced diagnostic laboratory instruments and systems. The position supports service territories across the U.S. and requires frequent travel during the training period. This is a fast‑track position within the organization.

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex laboratory instrumentation and systems
• Perform pre-installation site surveys, system installations, preventative maintenance, and equipment modifications
• Diagnose technical issues and complete repairs to meet operational specifications
• Document service activities including work orders, inventory usage, and service reports
• Support customer sites by resolving technical issues and maintaining high service standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely resolution of service needs
• Manage parts inventory, service tools, and company equipment

• Associate's degree or 0–3 years of experience in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related technical field (military experience considered)
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with technical systems
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50% within the U.S.
• Willingness to relocate for future service territory assignments
