The Part-Time Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial settings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to providing top-quality service to every customer.
Responsibilities:
- Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance in compliance with state and local codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and fixture malfunctions.
- Install and repair pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.
- Collaborate with electricians and other team members on combined electrical/plumbing projects.
- Provide accurate estimates and communicate effectively with clients and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Valid Connecticut plumbing license (P1, P2, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of plumbing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Part-time position (flexible hours; approximately 20-25 hours per week).
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on job needs.
