Overview
Sales Support Representatives (SSRs) are responsible for market execution, merchandising, and customer-facing events that increase NEBCO's visibility and performance in the market. This role supports NEBCO sales team and distributor partners by owning the executional work: promotions, tastings, events, and merchandising, allowing Sales Managers to focus on selling, strategy, and account development.
This position is designed as a supporting role within NEBCO's sales organization, with expectations for future sales responsibilities
Job Description
SSRs execute tastings, events, and merchandising initiatives across on- and off-premise accounts. They ensure consistent brand presentation, proper POS placement, and strong customer engagement at the account level. This role requires high energy, strong organization, attention to detail, a strong independent work ethic and the ability to communicate clearly with internal teams, distributor reps, and account staff.
Over time, SSRs will take on increased responsibility, including calling on B- and C-level accounts as part of their development into full sales roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute tastings, promotions, and events.
- Ensure merchandising standards are met, including POS placement, displays, signage, and overall brand presentation.
- Support growth by improving visibility and execution in targeted accounts.
- Provide detailed execution recaps, photos, and consumer feedback to Managers and distributor partners.
- Engage consumers during events and represent NEBCO professionally in the market.
- Reliable, insured, and well-maintained personal vehicle required.
- Ability to travel throughout assigned territory and work nights/weekends as needed for events.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working independently in the field.
- Prior beverage, hospitality, or brand ambassador experience preferred but not required.
- Salary range: $45,000-$60,000, based on experience
- Mileage reimbursement for approved business travel
