About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a full-time, 156-day assignment in Connecticut, beginning Jun 1, 2026. This role involves a demanding Monday through Friday schedule, guaranteeing four 12-hour shifts weekly, requiring flexibility for either 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM shifts. The Anesthetist will be responsible for comprehensive general anesthesia, ambulatory surgery, critical care, perioperative, and adult anesthesiology services, including adult trauma cases, with no obstetric requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide full-time coverage, Monday through Friday, including non-consecutive shifts.
Work four 12-hour shifts per week, with options for 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM, requiring schedule flexibility.
Bring a minimum of 2 years experience; candidates with 18 months of current experience are also encouraged to apply.
Administer all general anesthesia to patients.
Perform ambulatory surgery anesthesiology.
Engage in critical care anesthesiology.
Handle perioperative and adult anesthesiology cases.
Address adult trauma cases; pediatric trauma experience is not required.
Opportunity does not include obstetric cases.
