Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric RN with a CT or compact license and Level I trauma center background for a night shift opportunity.
Responsibilities- Work in a pediatric unit within a short-term acute care hospital
- Level I trauma center environment
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00)
- Average nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to other units as needed
- Uses Epic charting system
- Applicants must live at least 75 miles from the facility
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Return staff must have been separated for at least 2 years to be considered
- Requests for time off greater than 7 days require facility approval
- Parking is available for a monthly fee
- Participation in emergency response activities may be required
- Active CT or compact RN license or eligibility with licensure in progress
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric RN experience required
- BLS certification required
- Prior experience in a Level I trauma center at a large facility required
- Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster required (religious/medical exemption allowed)
