Our organization is expanding, and we’re looking for an EMR Specialist who thrives on collaboration, problem‑solving, and making a meaningful difference in day‑to‑day clinical workflows.

As an EMR Specialist, you’ll play a key role in training, supporting, and optimizing our electronic health record (EHR) system—partnering with clinical and non‑clinical teams to ensure seamless system adoption and continuous improvement. This role is fast‑paced, hands‑on, and perfect for someone who loves technology and enjoys empowering others.

Important Note

While healthcare experience is required,
Medical Assistant experience alone does not align with this position

What You’ll Do
  • Lead engaging classroom and hands‑on training sessions for clinical, administrative, and billing staff.
  • Provide enthusiastic at‑the‑elbow support to help users transition confidently from training to live system use.
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve help desk tickets with professionalism and speed.
  • Maintain expert‑level knowledge of all EHR applications, workflows, and functionality.
  • Support system maintenance, upgrades, enhancements, and new module rollouts.
  • Test new builds and features during implementation and ongoing maintenance cycles.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to evaluate and strengthen workflows, integration points, and efficiency.
  • Assist with workflow redesign and process optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with IT policies and documentation standards.
  • Tackle additional projects and responsibilities as needed in a growing environment.
What You Bring Essential Skills
  • Strong technical aptitude and comfort with technology‑driven problem solving
  • Experience working with EHR systems (Epic strongly preferred)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—especially in group training settings
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational follow‑through
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team‑focused environment
Additional Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience working with an Epic EHR system (preferred)
