Data Engineer

Our client is seeking a Data Engineer who is passionate about transforming raw data into valuable insights that drive strategic decisions. This is a hybrid position based in Fairfield County, CT.

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrations across various platforms.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable solutions.
• Build and maintain reliable data architecture to ensure accuracy, scalability, and performance.
• Develop and enforce data governance, quality, and security standards.
• Automate workflows for data collection, transformation, and delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL frameworks.
• Experience with relational and non‑relational databases (e.g., Postgre
  
  SQL, MySQL, Mongo
  
  DB, Snowflake, Redshift).
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, DBT, Kafka).
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
